If so, I’d say her singing resembles the sound I’d imagine a tone-deaf ostrich gargling sand would make. Here look, on the other hand, is just short of stunning, IMHO.

I believe so. It looks and sounds like the girl from the Shakira video (who is presumably Shakira herself).

1) Yes, she is pretty hot

2) She will proably only make one more video since no matter how popular she may be in Columbia or Spain or wherever, her voice does sound like someone pulling the head off a cat.

I don't like shakira myself but it seems you are to tough with the lady at least she writes her own songs (which is a lot in the decadent occidental civilazation). I don't want to mess with other singers but Britney, Cristina, Nsync, Backstreetboys, etc, etc would be shot if the ability to sing is needed to be a singer.
She is from colombia and is famous all over Ibero-america.

Hot. I had heard some of her other songs before this English one and I was surprised she wasn't more popular in the US. She has great dance beats. Better than any of these sugary bands we have at least.

well, shakira doesn't seem to mind the mini-chesticles...if you listen to the lyrics in 'whenever, whereever' and 'suerte,' she says something along the lines of:
"...thankful that my breasts are small and humble,
so you don't confuse them with mountains."

also, she's got a nice ass...i wouldn't mind having a bum like that!! :D but then again i though j. lo had a nice rear too :p

I think it sounds ugly to go from such a deep voice to a high, lilting voice so quickly in some of her songs... it sounds like horrible yodeling.

If she cut that stuff out, I'd like her songs so much more. They do have a nice beat to them.

I think she has a great voice when she's singing in Spanish, but I think she sounds terrible in English. It probably has something to do with not understanding the syntax(?) of the language in relation to the music. And she's trying to pronounce English words on top of that and it sounds garbled. It's painful to listen to, really.

I think her look is refreshing. She's very pretty and she doesn't look like a blow-up doll with permanent floatation devices affixed to her chest.

I would kill for an ass like hers.
