*Whew!*

I had some trouble title-ing that thread, but what I would like to know is: Do some popular musicians set out to make music that will be released after they die?

I ask because I would dearly love to hear some as-yet unheard music from Chet Atkins , George Harrison, and countless others whose voices and/or instruments I miss.

I hope that y'all don't think this is morbid. It's just that something in me can't focus on the fact that they are gone.

Thanks

Quasi

George Harrison reportedly recorded a song this past year to be included on a UK big band album (can't remember the artist...I think he used to be with Squeeze). Our funnyboy George, seeing the writing on the wall, had the song credited to "RIP 2001."

The fact that he financed many of the Pythons films attested to his love of humor, but I sure didn't know that Torgo!

I am beginning to think that there is more to Mr. George Harrison to be revealed!

"The Quiet Beatle"? I don't think so!

You're thinking of "Horse To The Water," on Jools Holland's "Small World Big Band" album. It was co-written with his son, Dhani. The publishing company is "RIP Ltd. 2001."

The Associated Press just updated their story on Harrison. The British newspapers are reporting that he finished recording an album before he died, so we may not have heard the last of him.
