Woo hoo! I got a promotion!

I just got my annual performance review. I wasn't expecting much, other than the usual cost of living adjustment. Instead, I got a promotion!

Now, brace yourselves...

I'm a .... SENIOR budget analyst now.

I know, I know.

I am master of my budget domain.



And on top of that, I just went to the mail room and saw that my used copy of The God of Small Things arrived. And it's in perfect condition!

And the little cherry on top is that I have tomorrow off so that the boyfriend and I can motor on out to Vegas to catch Paul McCartney at the MGM Grand.

Yowza! I'm sittin' pretty, folks. :cool:

Congratulations, scout! That's wonderful news!

Since budgets are a completely abstract concept to me, the high point of my day was that I went to my favorite book store on my lunch break and spent money as though there were no tomorrow. But that will provide me with many high points to come as I read through my stack.
