I sleep from 1:30pm to 8:00pm on Mon, Wed and Fri. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I sleep from 7:30am to 1:30pm. I work third shift full time and go to college full time.

Sleep is okay, but it's no substitute for caffeine.

I'll get plenty of sleep when I'm dead.

I don't. I have too much to do to sleep. Of course, I never actually finish all those pressing tasks... My time gets spent here instead.

Speaking of sleep, how long has everyone actually gone without any sleep? I've only gone about 36 hours. Let's find out who holds the record.

I went 34 hours. I was working for about 32 of those hours. Towards the end, I would hear sounds, and see dark blotches in my vision. It wrecked me for several days, including stomache distress.
I do " 24's" a lot, for some reason, nobody wants to spend two days shooting a music video, so you are invariably awake and working hard at 7 am, and still at 4:30 am the next morning...go figure.

Just barely have that beat -- forty-one hours, from 6:00 AM Sunday to 11:00 PM Monday. Couldn't do that these days, but when I was young, and full of piss and vinegar...

Over 72 hours. I don't know the specifics, because I was pretty well insane at the time. I know I was up on a Sunday by around noon, and did not sleep till sometime wedsnday night. It was another ten-twelve days before I slept more than 2-3 hours at a stretch, and there might have been a couple more days in a row without sleep in that period.

Extremely unpleasant experience.
