What's the Best Way to Sell My PC?

So far, I've placed an ad on the bulletin board at the student union, which a lot of people pass by and take a gander at from time to time.

I'm planning on taking out an ad in the student newspaper. Beyond that, maybe an eBay auction (though it would have to be a local one - even the thought of shipping a desktop PC and flat-screen monitor exhausts me)?

I'm hoping everyone's experiences will be able to shed some light on this. What's worked for Dopers trying to unload their machine?

Side question: Here are the specs for my PC; you all can let me know if my asking price ($1000, give or take) is reasonable:

That's $730, for new and by piece. Major components not included in total are case, motherboard, and moniter, minor components are keyboard, mouse and heat sink. Depending on state of everything, if a decent moniter's included $1000 is probably close to right for a fully assembled used system that's working well, although you'll get better results if you post it as $975.
