Hey guys. Just a quick question.
I disabled ACPI in winxp at the advice of FDISK as seen in this post (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=135803&highlight=ACPI)
no real problems (not sure if its more stable/faster) but I'm just wondering if there is any way for me to ENABLE ACPI. My comp. doesn't shut down automatically and its getting a little annoying. I've searched through the device manager etc. but I cant find a way to swich back from Standard PC to ACPI.
any ideas? Id rather not do a full reinstall.......
