I'll keep this short and too the point. So I'm wondering why in porn videos almost all the time before the guy climaxes he takes it out and spews his goo all over the chic. I would estimate this is what happens 95% of the time rather its oral or whatever sex.

So why are they doing this? Are they trying to prove to everyone that they are enjoying it and too show there glee, cum all over the place? I really dont get. Dude, if your going to do it manually then why even have sex at all -- you could have just stayed home and did that.

Porn is visual stimulus, mostly for guys. The idea is that the viewer wants to see all the details. If the star ejaculates inside his date, the viewer misses an important detail of the act of coitus, so the guy always pulls out to make his climax part of the show.

This has the additional advantage of making all the females in these films seem all the more like the dirty, slutty, cum-thirsty gals all us guys just looooove.

In Japan, there is an entire subgenre called "naka-dashi," which features internal ejaculation. Of course, in Japan there's a subgenre for just about everything.

For some reason, guys want to see the actual ejaculation. The industry calls it the "money" shot. If you don't have that shot you don't have a movie. I guess it must be a way for dudes to vicariously blow their own loads. If the guy in the movie doesn't get-off, the audience feels psychologically "unfinished" as it were.

I dont know about most guys, but I could care less if the guy cums and I certainly dont want to see it.

I second that emotion, Obvious Guy, and that goes for blow jobs too. Why would I want to watch another guy get his rocks off? (Not that there's anything wrong with that!!)

Did you hear about the porn star who was fired from his job at the gas station?

Every time the tank was nearly filled, he would pull out the nozzle and spurt gas all over the car.

Do many guys really love women who love having semen spurted all over their face and hair?

The thought of a man smearing vaginal secretions all over his face and hair is really quite unpleasant.

Not necessarily a good idea in a porn thread.

I can't speak for "many" guys just myself - I actually find it quite uninterresting if not disgusting.

I would actually rather see that - that would imply that the woman was arroused, which would turn me on, something fake moans and dirty words doesn't.

I think it harks back to the days of flicks that were much less explicit. Everybody was naked, of course, but the extreme close-ups we see now were a rarity. In an oral scene, you'd see that back of her bobbing head, and in other instances you'd see a couple humping from such an angle that you never really saw the penetration. Viewers suspected the whole thing was faked. It often was, of course. The risk of prosecution for porn was real in those days, and you could stay out of jail by filming something that was simulated. The external squirt was, presumably, real.

It doesn't appeal to me, but perhaps I'm in the minority.

Well, I don't mind seeing it in a porno...for some odd reason, I kind of like seeing it in a porno, but there's no way in hell I'd want to do it in real life. Keep it (relatively) clean, please. I just don't know what I'd do afterwards: "Oh, thanks hon, love you, and no, I'm not going to kiss you now because you have cum all over your face." Talk about a mood killer.

Honestly, it's something I like to do, occasionally.. I go in phases, so I'll want to do it for a few weeks, then I move on to something else for a week or two, and so forth.

My girl doesn't particularly like it though, so it doesn't happen often... hardly ever, in fact.

I'm ok with that, of course. She's in charge, in most respects.

I have dated a woman (way back when) who did. She claimed she liked seeing it too.

I think this is the third time I read this topic or one like it & I argued with Brian about it because I told him that it's not semen but some other fluid they make so they cum shots are fake. It's probably powdered sugar & water.

It's so easy to fake things these days, see?

Also, by doing this cum shot, people know the scene is done.

Well, also, wouldn't they use a condom in actual penetration, as to avoid pregnancy and/or STDs?

If I recall correctly, Asia Carreira discusses this on her website*. I believe that it's a requirement in the industry, although I don't remember the exact details as to why. Perhaps someone who's not at work can go check it out.

Seriously, this is the "moment of truth" for male porn stars. Women can thrash around and moan as much as they like (c.f. Teri Weigel), but a man can't "fake it."

Discounting fetish series where the objective is to do such things (bukkake, oral/blow job films, etc.), it has become, like AskNott says, part of the more raunchy convention of today's X-rated films. The viewers want to see the girl, they want to see her get treated like a slut, and they want to imagine releasing their orgasm on her in a rather demeaning way - pretty simple.

Tangentially, I also recall hearing from the woman's point of view that if the camera is busy watching the cum shot, it's good for your star power for your face to be on the receiving end, simply because that's where the camera is pointing. I don't know that she was in the majority on this one, though.Originally posted by handy

However, I have seen at least one film in which the ending was edited together with a shot of a fake penis spewing fake stuff onto the girl in such a way that we were supposed to believe it was real. This girl didn't (and still doesn't) like the real thing, but I don't know how much of a factor her desires could be.Originally posted byGuinastasia
Well, also, wouldn't they use a condom in actual penetration, as to avoid pregnancy and/or STDs?Yes and no. It depends on who all is involved.

Some production companies, like Vivid, are "taking a responsible stance" by having their actors wear condoms. It's partly functional, but really more lip service (no pun intended) than anything else. Most of the time you'll see the actor take off the condom for the "money shot" at the end of the act anyway.

Most producers, however, eschew such protective methods in favour of giving the fans what they want; this is, after all, supposed to be a fantasy, right? There are no such nasty bugaboos as STD's in a fantasy world, and hence no need for condoms.

In fact, some producers go to the opposite extreme and engage in some activities (chiefly unprotected anal sex combined with oral or vaginal engagement) that would otherwise be considered terribly unsanitary, simply because they know it enchances the whole "treat her like a slut" fantasy.

Some performers - primarily those who can expect to bring in a lot of business - actually have a substantial say in what, who, and how things are done to/for/with them. In some cases, this may even work its way into a film contract, allowing a Devon or a Jenna Jameson to demand that male co-star wear a condom or not do certain things with her.

I think this is called the "money shot" because the women who take it on the face/in the mouth get paid 4 or 5 times more than the man doing the shooting.

I am shocked...yes SHOCKED at the lack of women coming forth to express a love for receiving facials! Particularly since I know so many subs on this board.

What a great act of submission it is to be covered in your lover's semen. God I LOVE IT.

really.

My last girlfriend enjoyed it quite a bit. She almost always wanted me to ejaculate on her. I didn't care one way or the other, really.

I don't mind seeing it in pornos, but I don't like the cum-drool, mush-it-in-your-mouth shots. Those are kind of gross.

Think about other types of movies. In an action movie, would you be satisfied if you were merely told the bad guy had been killed, and you didn't see him fall off the roller coaster and get impaled on the unicorn on the carousel? No, and in fact, you'd wonder if he didn't actually die after all. Or in a romance, would you be satisfied if somebody reported secondhand that the two leads had kissed and made up and gotten married? Nope.

Same goes in porno. If all you see is the guy grunting and twitching, how do you know anything happened? At a very basic level of visual-information processing, it's more psychologically complete somehow to actually see the undeniable evidence of climax, even though if, in reality, it's a practice that a minority of people enjoy and practice.

Why do you think female "squirters" are in such high demand?

"I'll even wear my "welder" outfit for you!"

Doesn't that cover the face?.....

I once saw a Porno Blooper film & they used all this fake cum, in other words, they showed them actually using it. OF course, this is a long time ago, before women properly trained me not to watch such oppressive media.

Jarbabyj, I admire your honesty as so many folks think it's something only those nasty porno actors do. It's an act of extreme intimacy and for some one of submission. Fortunately some of us know submission does not mean inferiority or degradation, far from it. Submission takes strength.

FTR real men do kiss a woman after coming on/in her and if he doesn't get his face covered in her fluids when going down he isn't doing it right.

On the topic of fake spooge I know someone who specializes in "messy" photos of various kinds. Nothing gross like scat or hurl<shudder>, but things like paint, whipped cream and chocolate syrup. Her favorite substance is methylcellulose "slime." It's an additive used in things like shampoos as a thickening agent. You can get it as a powder from chemical supply stores and I think there is even a food grade version. She loves it because she says it has an incredibly silky, slippery feel on her skin. I have never seen any substance that looks more like semen. She drenches herself in gallons of the stuff. Picture "after her date with Godzilla."

Jar, I may have to wear my auto dark hood and deerskin TIG gloves to bed one of these days, lol. Don't know if my honey will like it or just think I've totally geeked out.

Except for the "fake cum-shot" thing, which has been alleged and alleged in this forum, always without a citation.

But imagine the fun that could be had with a squirt-gun filled with a substitute in a dark old fashioned porno theater.

I would like to be able to site the fake cum theory, but whenever I search for the fake cum web sites, there are like 34,767 porno web sites to wade through, ugh & Then clicking on one opens 25 more windows.

Some things I learned a long time ago from people who know people in the business & there is no way to verify that for ppl here.

But then, in fairness, I don't see anyone posting sites that say it's real either..... :-)

Wading in (with my boots on, it sure is thick in here)...

There is such a thing as fake cum but I don't think it is associated with fake male orgasms (this I have never hear of). I saw a special on a French porno actress (Rebecca something) who doesn't do facials. They used fake cum for the money shot during her photo shoots for web sites, adult magazine, etc. They just spoon it out all over her while some guy pretends to be getting off, and then they snap a bunch of pictures. Easy enough to do in still life, a bit more difficult in film/video. The funny part was that apparently it tasted terrible as she spewed it out as soon as the photo shoot was over.

(My apologies for no citation. I think we may have seen it on a Playboy special about adult movie actresses but I'm not sure.)
