AMC is running a special called "Bond Girls are Forever," where they interview most (OK, half a dozen) of the Bond leading ladies. So I thought I'd post a poll: who's your favorite?

Though I haven't seen "Die Another Day" yet, I must say, Rosamund Pike is a total fox.

And yes, Lois Maxwell or Judi Dench count.

If I wanted singing, Lotte Lenya from FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE.

If I wanted sex, Daliah Lavi from CASINO ROYALE.

Jill St. John and the Italian chick from Thunderball.

I've always liked Jane Seymore.

Gonna have to go with Famke Jassen as Xenia Onatopp (sp?) in Goldeneye. Famke Jassen in anything makes my head want to explode (both of them!).

Samantha Bond is hot in a Moneypenny kind of way.

Spoilers below:

I saw the new one today. Recycled plot from Goldeneye, Diamonds Are Forever. Well produced and nicely directed, but at about two and quarter hours, a bit long. It is clear that motivational scenes were cut. Halle Berry was very nice, but no view of the berries. She makes a top notch Bond girl.

Other favorite Bond girls: Barbara Carrera, Ursula Andress ...

Geez -- this many posts and Diana Rigg as Countess Teresa "Tracy" diVincenzo hasn't been picked? Head and shoulders and catsuit above the rest!

Thanks, essvee, I was looking for a site like that! Of course, they could have found some better quality pictures., especially of Diana Rigg and Luciana Paluzzi.

From watching the AMC special, I can say sorry, Ursula Andress has not aged well. Jill St. John and Luciana Paluzzi look fabulous.

Ditto. Ever since I saw her in TNG she's had my head exploding. A close second is Sophie Marceau.

Diana Rigg. There can be only one.

Although, if Diana had never been a Bond girl, I'd go for Famke Janssen.

You mean Ursula Andress, right? Or were you specifically referring to the MAD Magazine version? :)

So my answer depends on the question:

Favorite Bond Girl based on her performance in a James Bond movie: Famke Janssen (Honor Blackmon being a close second)

Favorite actress who happened to appear as a Bond Girl: Michelle Yeoh! (Diana Rigg being an extremely close second)

Mmmm... close...

Maryam D'abo. I mean, she played a cello for God's sake.

I never thought she was one of the better characters... too doe-eyed.

But, OH MY is she hot now, much more so than in 1987.

Just out of curiosity, how the heck do you know? I haven't seen her in, well, anything since The Living Daylights.

Well, my vote goes to her, as she was pretty, and could play a mean bullet-riddled cello.

Because she was the hosting the aforementioned AMC special on the Bond women.

And, she has a web stalker (http://maryamdabo.com/galeria%201.html).

For cheekbone perfection: Maud Adams (The Man With the Golden Gun and Octopussy).

Though I like Honor Blackman the best for chutzpah.
