I'm kind of interested in the actual score of "To Anacreon in Heaven" (to which the tune of "The Star Spangled Banner" is based) along with the lyrics. That is to say, I have seen the lyrics, but I was wondering if anyone knew of how they went along with the song? I tried Google to no avail; maybe someone might know better? Thanks.

Well, there are a coupla websites out there with the lyrics that also have a nice MIDI synthesized musicy thing. It really isn't that hard to put it together- a pint of Guinness is very helpful.
Just punch "Anacreon in Heaven" into your friendly neighborhood search engine, and voila links galore.

I actually was using the Yahoo! search engine when I found it. The links take some picking through, though. A lot of them take you to the same sites as a lot of other ones. Also, the MSN search engine is generally very helpful when looking for things of this nature.

This site (http://glyfix.com/soa/anacreon.html) has the musical score with lyrics. I found it through Cecil's column (http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a3_011.html) about the Star Spangled Banner.
