I made a very good Powerpoint project for English class, and I wanted to put it on a CD. So I tried saving it to a CD-RW. I've had no trouble with this in the past. It says it's fine, but when I go to open it, all it gives me is a blank project. I tried different CDs- nothing. Any suggestions?

How exactly are you doing this? From Powerpoint itself? What OS are you on? XP? Little more info would help here.

What program are you using? I'd suggest Nero, from ahead.de (http://www.ahead.de). I'm guessing that you're using some program, like Roxio's products, that burns rather iffy CDs. You can also try reducing the burn speed.

It is remotely possible that the drive you are attempting to read from does not fully support CD-RW disks, or even a particular brand it doesn't like. Try a plain old CD-R and you may have better luck.

Heres a thought, Monica.

I did the same thing, and when the Presentation was brought to school some of the animations etc, did not work.

The Version of Power Point at the school was too old. It couldn't understand the new stuff.

fortunately my friends labtop had the same version of "PP"
