View Full Version : The MSNBC Anchors and Co-Anchors

I'm on the verge of thinking they're insulting my intelligence with their visual aids, and "situation rooms" with topographical maps and pointers.
Rick Sanchez' shirt-sleeve, "school-teacher" approach to delivering the news and gesticulating almost seems like he's caricaturing himself. His sh way of saying words which begin in s makes me think of Gilda Radner's Baba Wawa from SNL's early years.
Just my opinion, but I can do without all of that. Just report the news, show me some film (not continuous loops, dammit) and move on.
What do y'all think?
And don't even get me started on FOX!:p
I can't believe that's butter!

Despite the needful speech corrections, I think they're trying to play up to a younger demographic.

You think he's weird now, you shoulda seen that guy when he was a FOX news anchor for WSVN in Miami. He has most definintely toned down his act since them days. He was like a bad soap opera actor portraying a unscrupulous medical doctor went was undercover as a newsman.

...um that last line should read "who went undercover..."

Oh, Rudy... What a fabulous babe. Natalie is mega-fine, too. I love smart, authoritative women like that.

Don't get me started on Ashleigh Banfield or whatever her last name is. Is she still on? Why does Chris Matthews have to yell over people? It's annoying.

I'm convinced John Elliot on MSNBC is the bastard love child of Lucille Ball and Greg Proops. Ick.

How an obnoxious clown like him didn't wind up on FOX is a mystery to me.

Considering how FOX keeps poaching on-air talent (especially the eye candy) from the other news networks, he probably will be. They'd probably pair him up with E.D. whatever her last name is this week on a show even dumber and louder than Fox & Friends.
They got Davy and Goliath lookalike Greg Jarrett just recently, but they can keep him. Although I have to watch FNC for my Kiran Chetry fix.
I'm still trying to figure out how Chris Jansing on MSNBC still has a job. Ditch her and bring on Virginia Cha.
I used to put up with Chris Matthews for the caliber of guests he had on, but now he uses every commercial break as a chance to plug his damn book. At least he finally quit bragging about catching malaria. Where's that flesh eating bacteria when you need it?
Then again noted plagiarist and journeyman loudmouth Mike Barnicle fills in for him so much they should have equal billing on the show.

The media is full of itself and it is nauseating. A self-perpetuating series of claptrap and then they hand out awards to themselves.
Where's that spit smiley?
