I have made an observation throughout my education and was curious if there was any research out there to prove either way. A couple years back, I was in a college math class with kids from 6th-10th grade. These were SMART kids. Of the 12 in the class, I believe 10 of them had glasses, and the others two may or may nto of had contacts. Going through life, glasses tend to be associated with the smart-geeky-nerdy type. So, is there a correlation between eyesight and intelligence?

Wearing glasses equals being smarter? (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=153290&highlight=glasses+intelligence)

Since this topic has been discussed so recently, I'll close this thread and direct further comment to the earlier one, linked to above.
