Kat

StarvingButStrong
02-28-2003, 10:05 PM

Kat

You had a high point, at least.

sperfur

Anyone want to see my first attempt at creating a home page? (Its not my home page - I created it for someone else. Okay, okay, I'll admit, I paid a guy to help me/teach me how to create it for someone else. But I've done everything since the first few links.) I am so totally impressed with myself I have to share...

Lobsang
02-28-2003, 10:09 PM
Approaching hell, the alphabet here is.

StarvingButStrong
02-28-2003, 10:18 PM
Let me ask a question: how does the board know who is here? Does it just guess that we're still around for XXX minutes after we access a page? Or is it something dark and nefarious.....

sperfur
02-28-2003, 10:20 PM
My guess is, its the red gnomes. See, the red gnomes are the bad gnomes and the green gnomes are the good gnomes.

StarvingButStrong
02-28-2003, 10:21 PM
No, really?

I figured maybe the hamsters whisper with the gerbil in my desktop.

StarvingButStrong
02-28-2003, 10:26 PM
Triple screwup! Sperfur screwed up the coding, I screwed up the alphabet, Lobsang was cryptically brief. Not a sterling exchange.

Got to be careful where you sit with drunks in the car.
Hurling while you're going 60 tends to be blown back into the faces of the othe passengers.

Er, I'm with you Osiris on the coke. Diet coke, regular coke, caffeine free coke, caffiene free diet coke, vanilla coke, diet vanilla coke, it doesn't matter as long as it's the Real Thing!

To answer your question about a "creamy" pizza, I once encountered a New England Clam Chowder Pizza. It was basically a pizza crust lining a wide flat bowl, with new england clam chowder poured over it. It was weird but good. I don't know if I'd order it again.

Remember to send extra hamster food for having to load this thread.

Sixty four pages....wow.

Kat
03-01-2003, 04:53 PM
Thanks for the reminder. *scribbles "hamster food" on shopping list*

samarm
03-01-2003, 04:53 PM
That's just the start. We're going for 100.

vivalostwages
03-01-2003, 04:54 PM
Unbelievable....Has there ever been a thread this long before?

samarm
03-01-2003, 04:55 PM
Very unlikely. We're way past the LoTR thread now.

lel
03-01-2003, 04:56 PM
Verily there is something left here to talk about besides how long this thread is, isn't there? How about the weather? Baseball? Anything?

samarm
03-01-2003, 04:57 PM
What about formula 1? Anyone interested in that?

vivalostwages
03-01-2003, 04:59 PM
Weather...ah, yes. We get some weather nearly every day.

Today it is cold and cloudy and on the verge of raining.

samarm
03-01-2003, 04:59 PM
X-rated movies, maybe?

You like Jenna Jameson?

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:00 PM
Zoinks! Here we go again!

Fern Forest
03-01-2003, 05:03 PM
A-Ha! Did someone mention weather? Allow me to wax about how today it is absolutely perfect. Not to sunny, not to hot. It's a perfect Goldilocks day.

Bikinis everywhere.

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:05 PM
Could someone stop Osiris from talking about the wheather. People in Waikiki shouldn't be allowed. :D

Kat
03-01-2003, 05:06 PM
Cold here. Brrrrrrr...

sperfur
03-01-2003, 05:08 PM
Don't worry. I've sent someone to take care of Osiris. He shouldn't be bothering us with his weather talk anymore. :p

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:08 PM
Don't talk about the whether. How about Iraq? Should we invade or not?

lel
03-01-2003, 05:08 PM
Crikeys, I know nothing about Formula 1 or Jenna Jameson. Sorry. How about we talk books? :)

lel
03-01-2003, 05:09 PM
Gosh, I better not talk about the weather either. It's been unusually cold today here, with a high of about 60F.

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:10 PM
Everybody likes books. OK. I'm reading Dark House by Stephen King.

Fern Forest
03-01-2003, 05:11 PM
Evil is the pleasure I gleam from it. In five months I'll mention how it's almost 90F and I'm so hot. *chuckles*

Funny post lel.

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:12 PM
Fer cryin' out loud! Another page. The humanity!

Kat
03-01-2003, 05:13 PM
Don't poke the bear.

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:13 PM
Got milk?

How about beer?

lel
03-01-2003, 05:15 PM
Gosh (G again!), thanks Osiris!

Unfortunately, in 5 months, I'll be saying that it's 110 degrees and whining.

I'm reading a collection of astronomy essays by Asimov right now.

Fern Forest
03-01-2003, 05:15 PM
I wonder what a "Got Beer?" ad would look like?

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:16 PM
Just imagine Elton John guzzling a bud, wearing a bizarre costume.

sperfur
03-01-2003, 05:21 PM
Hey! Now I've got to send someone to take care of lel, too!

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:22 PM
I'm confused... where did that "H" come from? :D

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:23 PM
Keep it going.

Long way to go.

More pages needed!

Kat
03-01-2003, 05:23 PM
I've got rum.

lel
03-01-2003, 05:25 PM
Now just wait, sperfur, they'll melt in the heat too.

Kat
03-01-2003, 05:30 PM
Oreos, anyone?

samarm
03-01-2003, 05:31 PM
Please, got any Pringles?

Kat
03-01-2003, 05:35 PM
Quite unfortunately not. Got Ruffles, though.

Kat
03-01-2003, 05:38 PM
Rrrrrrrrrrruffles have rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrridges....

Fern Forest
03-01-2003, 05:40 PM
Still got a few packets of Pop Rocks over here.

They're all watermelon though.

Fern Forest
03-01-2003, 06:13 PM
Ummm, the watermelon pop rocks aren't THAT bad. Just not as good as the fruit punch or strawberry.

BioHazard

Very glad, I AM that I'm back on this thread. I just got out of jail.

BioHazard
03-01-2003, 06:46 PM
Well, if you want to know why I was jail, go look in the Pit for my OP.

Fern Forest
03-01-2003, 07:12 PM
Xmas certainly didn't come early for you this year. Good luck with that.

You know, I thought you were joking at first becuse the one letter (P) title.

samarm

Zebra meat is highly underrated.

samarm
03-01-2003, 07:26 PM
And here we go again!

koeeoaddi
03-01-2003, 07:32 PM
BioHazard, glad you're back.

so which dream team guy is your uncle? Inquiring minds want to know.

Kat
03-01-2003, 07:33 PM
Bacon and eggs would taste good now, even though breakfast was over a long time ago.

koeeoaddi
03-01-2003, 07:35 PM
Canned Zebra is nasty, though, samarm.

samarm
03-01-2003, 07:35 PM
Canelloni?

Kat
03-01-2003, 07:36 PM
Castles can be awfully drafty.

samarm
03-01-2003, 07:36 PM
Don't offer me any zebra, I won't take it.

koeeoaddi
03-01-2003, 07:36 PM
Didn't mean to bold face only the first letter of your name samarm.

Evidently it's become a habit.

samarm
03-01-2003, 07:38 PM
Forget it, koeeoaddi. No problem. :D

vivalostwages
03-01-2003, 07:43 PM

Lobsang
03-01-2003, 07:48 PM
I am so tired - I can't work out how long I have been awake for!

Fern Forest
03-01-2003, 08:00 PM
Just have another cigarette. Then curse Sir Walter Raleigh, he was such a stupid git.

lel
03-01-2003, 08:06 PM
Kill some brain cells first, then try to figure it out, Lobsang! :D

Lobsang
03-01-2003, 08:07 PM
Lacking in braincells already.

More killing would be fatal (duh)

Kat
03-01-2003, 08:08 PM
Let's have a party.

Lobsang
03-01-2003, 08:08 PM
Non-smoker, by the way.

Lobsang
03-01-2003, 08:10 PM
Oh Kat, fashionably late.

BelZarak
03-01-2003, 08:44 PM
Pretty impressive that this thread is still going.

Fern Forest
03-01-2003, 08:48 PM
QEII will have to come by and put Lobsang to bed. Not the woman the boat. *smack*

Watcher of the Skies
03-01-2003, 09:07 PM
Rest up Lobsang, we've got a heavy day of posting to do tomorrow. The other time zones will keep it going overnight.

Kat
03-01-2003, 09:10 PM
Such as we can, at least.

Lobsang
03-01-2003, 09:11 PM
Time zone - GMT for me. (I work nights too)

Watcher of the Skies
03-01-2003, 09:16 PM
Urge to sleep must be strong. GMT would be approx. 3:18am local time.

Kat
03-01-2003, 09:30 PM
Very late, it is not. Here, at least.

Lobsang
03-01-2003, 09:31 PM
What are the hamsters playing at?!

koeeoaddi
03-01-2003, 09:31 PM
Watcher, don't forget the midnight cereal! :)
