i was standing in front of the mirror and I noticed my bald spot is growing...sigh. Wehn i was done I flipped on the TV and i was watchig "The Practice". I looked at Dylan Mcdermott and I thought "Good lord, what is that thing on his head ?", and so I want to know who else on TV has such a bad looking rug?

I think the worst "hair" of all time goes to Liberace.

No, no! There's some freakish old guy on one of the country channels that I've seen while surfin' past. I think he hosts his own show.

Looks to be about 60ish, but has the weirdest fake hair and bad 'do to boot. It looks like very fine copper wire, and it is perfectly straight, in a bouffant combover sort of thing. Imagine a California surfer dude style circa 1960, and you're getting close.

I second the vote for Ted Koppel aka Alfred E. Newman.

I think this one (http://www.tbn.org/newsltrs/9912/991220.htm) speaks for itself.

From the description, the unnamed guy on the country station sounds a lot like "Whisperin'" Bill Anderson.

And even if it isn't, it perfectly describes him.

The late Raymond Burr had a short lived television series after his Perry Mason and Ironside days. I don't remember the name of the show or what it was about, but more than twenty years later I can still remember the wig he wore.

Mullinator, were you talking about his or her wig?

Firstly Odieman bite your tongue, Dylan Mcdermott is a lovely little specimen of man.
And Mullinator you cruel thing, where did you find that and why did I open it? I am seriously disturbed now. erhhhhhhhhhhh
I don't have anything to rival that atrocity, but I (as a woman) actually have some irrational fear of losing my hair - not that I am, just that I went to a catholic boarding school and one of the nuns was bald and she has affected me for life, we don't need scary things like that.
(although if it was a choice between the hair in Mullinator's pic or being bald, i may just chose bald.)

You can either take them separately or as one example of poor wigdom. However, I think she is carrying most of the load with that pile of fiber on her head.

He's not really a "TV" guy, but what about Dan Weaverino?

You know, the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins?

Every time I pointed out my reasons for knowing that's a weave, my husband didn't believe me. Then Mr. Weaverino started doing the 1-800-LOAN-YES commercials with his father... Who is as bald as a cue ball!
