I just watched the 1990 film version of The Lord of the Flies, and as I usually do after watching films based on books, checked out amazon.com's page for the book upon which the film was based.

To my surprise, I found that my review of the book (under the alias "banger7"), written over 3 years ago, was a "Spotlight Review" (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0399501487/qid=1048317974/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/002-7823351-1170450?v=glance&s=books&n=507846). I don't consider it to be a great review, but evidently it was deemed good enough by amazon.com to be put at the front of a list of over 800 reviews.

Do you have any "Spotlight Reviews"? Are there any reviews you posted on amazon.com that you feel particularly proud of? Are there any reviews you posted on amazon.com that you aren't very proud of? My review of Lord of the Flies is the inspiration of this thread, but all responses (including those generating negative feedback, which I have also received) concerning amazon.com reviews are welcome :)
