I know they want the US military out of Saudi Arabia and they want Israel destroyed. Anything else? Do they have a list of demands?

This has been addressed in other threads, but basically they want you to stop being what you are. Actually, they want you to stop being at all. There is absolutely nothing you could do that would satisfy what Al wants short of disbanding Western culture and agreeing to subject yourself to their rule, or dying. IMHO.

At the very least for us to get out of all Muslim countries. If we export anything to them it must be generic (nothing like Coke, Fords or McDonalds). For us to exert absolutely no influence on them. Of course, that would be the beginning of the slippery slope which would end up in what MLS described. :eek:

From what I can tell, Al Qaeda is demanding that we expend lots of money and energy to track them down and blow them off the face of the earth, much in the same manner that one would go after, say, vermin.

At least that's what it looks like to me. I think their demands are being met. At least I hope so.
