Fax problem. Help, please.

I installed Callwave's fax program to receive faxs in my email but my windows Imaging won't bring up the sample fax Callwave sent me. I tried reinstalling Imaging, etc. so, I got XnView, but I still get the message "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action (opening it); Create an association in My Computer by clicking View and then clicking Folder Options. I go there but I have absolutely no idea what to do. Does anyone know what to do to make this program work.

I'm not familiar with Callwave's fax program, but... what's the extension of the faxd image ?

Try installing ACDSee (http://www.acdsystems.com/English/Products/ACDSee/ACDSee-Download.htm). It should be able to read the image format of your fax program.
