Where Oh Where did Lileks.com go?

I went to Lileks to see if I could get my morning dose of the Bleat when to my surprise there appeared a squatting web domain...has James lost control of his own name or is it a glitch on his server company...I don't know what I would do without my favorite web site...anybody out there have the Straight Dope...anybody, Eve? Lileks? anybody.....

Do you still have the problem? -- cause I can see it now just fine.

There was a mention yesterday about the domain renewal; perhaps that had something to do with it. He mentioned the fifth anniversary of the domain, and thanked a guy who'd called him to tell him his registration was about to expire.

You guys sue you're not looking at a cached copy of the page? I get a "Future Home of a Dotster Registered Domain" page when I go to Lileks.com and try to refresh. OTOH, I can hit this link (http://lileks.com/bleats/index.html) just fine.

I think I've figured it out, if you go to www.lileks.com you get the home of a dotster etc....but if you go to lileks.com (no www.) then it points you to the correct page...so it's almost like they forgot to set up an alias.

I dunno -- I get to it fine with www. Maybe it's a Canadian problem? :)
