There're more samurai movies than one can count, but, besides "Braveheart," and "Rob Roy," no Scottish equvalents come to mind. Which seems strange, since all the same ingredients are there: clan rivalries, martial culture, claymores instead of katenas. Heck, even Kirosawa's "Red Beard" was based on "MacBeth;" so it would seem that there's no shortage of material, and, with the popular market for things Celtic, a ready audience. But I couldn't find anything on Google or imdb.com.

I thought it was Kurosawa's "Throne of Blood" that was based on Macbeth.
