Has plastic surgery 'improved' J.Lo?

So I happened to catch U Turn (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0120399) on TV the other day. It took me a little while to connect the - quite - good looking latina with the J.Lo of late.

So, any opinions, gossip, hard facts, whatever?

Uhm, is it a confirmed fact that J-Lo has had plastic surgery? Or is that the question you're asking? If it is, I don't think she's had plastic surgery. Keeping in mind that people can change quite a lot in five or six years, I think it's just a 'natural' thing, combined with different use of make-up, hairstyles, etc. I think she used to be prettier, but she used to be younger, too, so...

No, I'm asking if anyone knows if she's had something done. It looks to me that her complexion is much lighter.

This is - by me - not ment to be a J.Lo. bash-fest. I like her as an actress of popcorn movies and think she looks good. But then, I've always been partial to 'Latin' women. Her music is not very interesting, but I give her credit for having top grossing movie and album out at the same time - something not even Madonna's managed to do.

Her diva style and choice in men is of no cencern of mine. I don't plan to hang with her during the weekend, so for me, those are moot points.

Nah, no major alterations there -- as Shortguy and Servant said, it's likely a combination of changing hair/makeup/dress styles, variations in weight/muscle definition, and photo/videographic effect both good and bad.

She looks sort of like Scary Spice in the first photo. And I don't mean that as a good thing. I generally find her attractive, over the years, but that first pic, sheesh, wonder if her publicist screens these things. Very bad eye makeup.

I see no difference. The skin colour differecne appears to be a product of the second photo being a bad photo; there's obviously flash glare coming off her skin. In the first photo she has different hair and worse makeup. That's it.
