Louie, have you abandoned the SDMB just to spend you time doing your studies? Getting good grades? Meeting real people? Geeze.

Actually, yes I did abandon the SDMB, for a short while. I got a speech and an essay to work on, as well as a job interview coming around this week. Along with the 6 hour naps (yes, 6 hours), I haven't had any time online. Sorry.

And anyways, I don't have anything to post about on the boards anymore. I'm not a scholar like most of the Teeming Millions are, and since HTML is gone, I can't help anyone with that now. I could post bullshit like handy, but that's no fun.

This isn't a farewell post. I'm just saying I'm pretty much a lurker now, if I have the time to even get on the boards. Don't worry about me, I'm doing okay dokey, albeit busy as a bee.

If you need to talk to me, email me or IM me at Lou826.

Until then...

Trying to help out to stamp out ignorance like the rest of 'em,

Hey, Louie. You think we're scholars here?
Hogwash. This is more like "Who Wants to be A Millionaire?" Only without the million.

Hang around and you'll catch a subject that you're good at for whatever reason. Then make your contribution and astound and amaze!

Good luck at your job interview!

Glad you are okay if very busy. Board is changing a lot. I miss the HTML, too. Good luck with the job and studies!

Oh, Louie.
After you do the interview remember to send a follow-up letter to the person in human resources who spoke with you.
What the heck do you say?
Thank You for...(personalize it)...if you can't personalize it thank him/her for taking the time to speak with you. Say something nice about the company that he/she was proud of.
Looking forward to speaking with you again.
You get the picture.
Your interview was an audio thing that took a few minutes so each of you could size each other up.
The letter is a visual thing that once more puts you in that persons mind in a positive manner.
Good Luck!
