That's entirely correct friends and neighbours, I will once again be gracing your presence with my witty and urbane self; maybe I'll even get a haircut before I leave!

I'll be in DC from the evening of the 16th to midway through the 21st. Unfortunately, most of the time, I'll be in a meeting in Bethesda, and it's also my MIL's birthday, so it'll be tight.

Saturday, unfortunately, is booked.
Sunday, I'm open, 'cept I gotta drive to Dulles for a 10:30 pm arrival to pick up a coworker. (I want to go to Bistro Du Coin downtown. Mm!)
Monday, I'm booked all through the evening, unless people wanna go for late drinks.
Tuesday evening, is MIL's birthday dinner, so we'll be booked then. Again, I'll betcha late drinks could be arranged as well.

As well, I'm hoping to convene a special session of the Lunch Bunch on Tuesday lunch. I could do Monday, if Tuesday's a hardship, but it'll have to be around 2:00, 'cause I've got a meeting from 10 am-1:30 pm.

Sorry there's not much time to get together, but the Powers That Be decided to cram as many meetings as possibile into 2 1/2 days so they don't have to shell out more money for hotel rooms.

So who's up for something? Talk to me, people!

So you're available from 1:06 to 1:09 on fraturday the eleventeenth? Oy. Would you do us the favour of setting a time and place, and telling us to be there? We're not avaliable on Sunday at all. Tuesday may be doable for lunch.

Dinner Sunday night at the Bistro is cool with me and Tuesday lunch bunch also (2 p.m. on Monday will not work). Ask Stephi if she wants me to take Monday off and we can hang out since everyone else will be at work or in meetings. Besides, I could use a day off.

Good enough.

We're all going for dinner at Bistro Du Coin on Sunday evening. And I still wanna do Lunch Bunch on Tuesday.

I'd pretty well figured on Sunday. For the most part, my list up there is to keep myself up to date.

And on preview, I think Steph's got herself booked for Monday, dcnewsman, but you could write her an e/mail and ask. Write me at my work address and I'll give you hers.

I will have to check with the fam to see what rotation I'm on for taking care of my grandparents. If I'm "off" on Tuesday, a ride on the metro may be in my future!

Well, I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna see you but I probably won't make the Sunday dinner. We'll compare notes on the new X-Men film (you saw it, right?).

I posted in the lunch bunch thread that I'm all for a Tuesday meetin'- but here is another extra official "I'm a sure thing, okey-dokey, gonna be there, good to be in DC!" so that there isn't any confusion on the matter.

I just spoke to Aguecheek, prodigal son who has returned home to the Metro DC area. He would like to meet a 6 p.m. at Bistro Du Coin. It is on Conneticut Avenue just a few blocks north of the north Dupont Circle metro station. We probably should make a reservation if a large group is coming, so please sound off now.

Please clarify time and place for lunch on Tuesday. 2 pm ABP?
