You're listening to a song, maybe tapping your fingers along, when you hear something that makes you think "hey, that's a good point", or "how true!" For instance:
"If can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with" - Love the One You're With CSNY
"If you wanna kiss the sky, better learn how to kneel" - She Moves in Mysterious Ways
"Ain't nuthin but a heartbreaker...friend only to the undertaker" (and most of the rest of the song) - War Edwin Starr
I know there's plenty more, so let's hear 'em!

"Alone we stand, together we fall apart," The Strokes
Almost all of Bob Dylan's Possitively 4th Street (http://www.search.com/click?sl,marin.1.channel.1249-159-28-1250.1.0.bob+dylan+lyrics.0,http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Edylanchords%2Ecom%2F), (hell, most of just plain Bob Dylan) but especially, "I know the reasons you talk behind my back/I used to be among the crowd your in with."
Also by Dylan, Subteranian Homesick Blues, "Don't need to be a weatherman to know which way the blows."
"I'm not saying that there's something wrong with you. It's wrong with me as well." The Goo Goo Dolls.
