Of course now the White House is saying Bush and Condi Rice didn't even read the entire National Intelligence Estimate (http://www.statesman.com/asection/content/auto/epaper/editions/saturday/news_f381debac525d080002e.html) The State Dept's contention "The claims of Iraqi pursuit of natural uranium in Africa are, in INR's assessment, highly dubious." were buried in the footnotes.

Okay, I can understand Shrub not reading the entire 90 page report. The footnotes probably didn't have any pictures, and all those ibids and op cits are awfully confusing. But the National Security Advisor can't read a document of this magnitude of this importance in it's entirety, what the hell are we paying her for? :rolleyes:
