Fotos used to have a band called "Take Note" - he wanted "Barry Manilow Must Die", but he was afraid someone might take it seriously.

I could go on and on...random word groupings are something I've done for fun ever since I was ten or so. Two names that I really want to use for bands are:
Aphasia (found by accident once, while playing the "put your finger on any word in the dictionary" game)
and my favorite:
seven18 (It's my birthday. I will use this someday!)

Posted this in a CS thread about making up a band from existing members of other bands...

Maynard James Keenan (Tool) on vocals
Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) on vocals, keyboards/other misc musical devices
Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) on bass
Danny Carey (Tool) on drums

Together, they form the Red Hot Nine Inch Tools

Thirty Odd Foot of Grunt (... oh wait, there already is a band with such a stupid name)

Before Crowded House decided to call themselves Crowded House, they were seriously considering calling themselves Barbra Stanwyck's Chest

Boo boo foo, was that the name of the little girl supposedly killed by dingoes in Australia---the one where Meryl Streep played the mom in the movie?

I always wanted to have a band called either Purple Sock Fuzz or The Undead Elvises. I would play lead kazoo and tambourine.

I'd like to submit the name of my band...

Eric and the Clap-Tones

Well, okay it's not really a band as such...just a loose collection of bad rythym guitar players who spill beer on my living room carpet and play "Wild Nights" until the dog goes into convulsions...

And from my own thread title:
Japanese Nipples of Fury

TheInterruptingCow
08-15-2003, 07:24 PM

Sniggies and Pletch

And a real one...The No-Triple Band "No triple", in hospital-speak, means "do not resuscitate".

Yes, he's referring to Azaria Chamberlain, and the incident occurred in the early 1980s near Ayers Rock (now Uluru). The movie was known as 'Evil Angels' in Australia but to the US and everywhere else it was called A Cry In The Dark (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0094924).

And here's another connection - Oz's band in Buffy was called Dingoes Ate My Baby
