Hey just realized this. What ever happened to the chick and the duck that Joey and Chandler owned on freinds, seems like they were just gradually phased out untill one day *poof*

Well, Monica is a chef...

(and where's the damn monkey?)

Ross gave the monkey up because Marcel was humping everything. It happened ages ago.

Sorry, don't know anything about the C&D.

I was hoping this thread was about Beverly Switzler.

I thought the monkey was the best actor on the entire show.

I was wondering this last year... but quickly dismissed the thought.

Now, however, it's shown up on the SDMB, so, I checked the FAQ for Friends (http://www.friends-tv.org/faq.html#3.12) and they really have kind of disappeared.

What is the average life span of a chicken and a duck anyway?

Also, has Phoebe's triplets ever been seen again?

I thought they gave them to a petting zoo or something. I specifically remember an episode that showed what happened to them. I think.

The triplets are in a petting zoo?

Ross's first son seems to have been sent to the same petting zoo.

And the monkey became a movie star.

Just to add to the list, we haven't seen gunther or the super of the building in an awfully long time.

Soylent green with mocklet, perhaps.

Surely the chick would have grown up into an adult hen in a year or 2? Unless Joey bonsaied it. Ducks can live for quite a while: I've heard some can live to be 15 or even 20.

Maybe the chick and duck absconded with the show's sense of humor and all the flesh off Monica's body, and are now delighting farmyards across the midwest (in some way involving female flesh).
