Actually, as a longtime Wing Nut, I can tell you, the Wings-Avs rivalry has gotten rather lame the past few years.

I blame this almost exclusively on Colorado. They got rid of everybody who made the rivalry so special - Marc Crawford, Clod Lemieux, Mike Ricci, Mike Keane, etc.

Maybe it will get rekindled in this upcoming series. That would be cool.

Hope the Sharks now give the Stars as tough a series as they did the Blues. Because the Wings' series win over the Avs, while inevitable, certainly won't be easy.

The thought of Blues fans sitting around, dazed, trying to figure out what happened, is kind of satisfying, innit?

They're lucky. They've got a Super Bowl championship they can go back to reveling in.
