Guilty Pleasure: She Spies

Okay, not that guilty. The show is actually funny.

Does anybody else watch this show?

If so, a few mutterings...

1) Kristin Miller. Words fail me. What a beauty - in every sense.

2) Carlos Jacott. Why on earth is this man not going to be on the show anymore? He's really the straw that stirs the drink.

As Star Trek and Star Wars are not mentioned here, I expect this thread to rapidly evaporate.

I've enjoyed the show too, moreso than the similar VIP. (Maybe it's the lack of Pamela Anderson on She Spies.) I really like the blonde with the short hair, but I don't know the actress' name. She Spies is surprisingly funny and entertaining for a syndicated action/comedy show trying to cash in on the Charlie's Angels formula.

Yes, I feel quite ashamed that I actually kind of enjoy this show when it turns out to be the only thing on, but damned if it isn't witty as heck!

My favorite thing is that the show is very self-aware, there are all sorts of self-referencing jokes. No other show I know will explain a plot twist by having a character say that "The writers couldn't think of anything better" in dead-pan seriousness.

Oh, I love this show! The women are gorgeous, the dialogue is witty, and they pander to my KO and bondage fetishes (the girls are knocked out and tied up quite often)! I am very glad it was renewed for a second season! I just hope it lasts for several more years!

When I heard about this show I wanted to watch it (hell, I'd watch Natasha Henstridge read the phone book) but the damn thing is only on at like 2am where I am. I've yet to see a single episode. I realize I could set my VCR to tape it, but I guess that's too much effort.

I love this show. I was flipping channels and I ran across the show in which the secret that a model was being blackmailed for was that he was a furry fetishist. Not only did the musical number have me rolling on the floor but the knowing asides and references were hilarious.

I missed a lot of the first season and not every show was that good, but I don't consider She Spies a guilty pleasure. It's flat out better than most of the other cop/spy shows on tv.

By the way, Khadaji, while Natasha Henstridge is indeed hot, she is only the third best looking woman on the show. Kristen Miller (D.D.) and Natashia Williams (Shane) are both better looking that Henstridge is, and that is no knock on her at all.

Damn if that doen't sum up my feelings, too. I'd like to qualify it though by saying that I was always a big Henstridge fan because she is so damn cool in real life. But the other two, especialy Williams are unbelievable.

Since he's a member of the Mutant Enemy Repertory Company, maybe a regular gig on Angel. The thing that’s bugging me is that the new season is supposedly going to be less funny. The humor is the best part of the show! They can’t seriously try to sell this as an action show.

We’ll soon see. The new season starts this weekend.
