I was in the pub on Saturday with the guys and somehow or other we discovered that all of us had heard that, allegedly, there is a bar somewhere in London that sells it's beer "Stock Exchange" style.
Basically the beer price goes up on a big board and fluctuates according to demand.
This sounds like a good laugh and we'd love to go there and give it a try one evening.
But...
(there's always a but)
...none of us have any idea where it is or even if it really does exist.
I've done some serious googling but without any luck. So far i've discovered:
1) That there is a Bar like this in Sydney
2) That there was definitely a place back in 1999 that did this in London called "The Market Bar", unfortunately the New York Times article that reported on it fails to give an exact location, nor do i know if its still open :smack:
So over to you guys - anyone out there know? or are there any super-googlers out there who can help??
my drinking future is in your hands...
