I'll be damned. All of that whining, letter writing, and petition signing actually made a difference. (http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=16501)

I never would have credited it.
But, as with all else in life, this merely adds fuel to my eternal torch for Friefly. If they could do it, Joss can do it.

Wow.
Looks like one of the networks actually has some sense in them.
I just wish Fox could follow their example.

FilmForce (http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/440/440604p1.html?fromint=1) is reporting that the production office in Australia has indeed resumed operations. Production will be limited to a mini-series, independent of the Sci-Fi channel.

I certainly hope not. The show was godawful the final season, some of the worst science fiction ever to be shown on TV. I'll give it a watch, but if it's half as ludicrious as it was in the final season, I doubt I'll stay through an entire episode.
And since the solution to the "cliffhanger" is painfully obvious, there's not even any suspense on how they'll come back.
