Question for my fellow musician-dopers: Are Italia gutars any good? I ask this because I saw (and played) a Mondial the other day at Guitar Center, and man, it looked so cool that I had to restrain myself from grabbing it and running.
I hear that Italia's instruments are popular in Europe and are just now getting a foothold in the States. Has anyone here had any experience with 'em?
(Also... I've been looking for a hollow-body electric for a while, and the Mondial seems to be a contender. Worthwhile, or is there a better choice in the same ($300-600) price range?)
