When I was a kid, my older brother had a ton of C64 games of which to play, one of the more fun ones comes to mind, but I'm not sure what the title is, and if I could find anything on the internet in order to play it again...

It had something to do with a robot... you played as a robot in a 2d world, and you must navigate your way through trampolines, conveyerbelts, (magnets?) and more. The part of the game I remember the most though was that you could design your own levels of pandemonium and fun.

I'm know the description is vague, but I was playing it when I was 4-6 years old, and I don't remember much else. I've been searching for months from time to time trying to find the title of this game or someplace to acquire it, but all efforts fail.

I don't recall if the protagonist was a robot or not, but might you be remembering Jumpman (http://www.vgmuseum.com/images/c64/jumpman.html)?

Or Jumpman Jr. (http://home.arcor.de/cybergoth/epyx/jumpman2.html)?

Definalty not Jumpman. No rotating conveyer belts in Jumpman as far as I know.

I believe is Mr Robot:

http://www.solinari.com/games/review.php/2

But the computers aren't content to make this task easy...ooooooooh no. Littered throughout each section of the factory are tons of ladders, trampolines, teleporters, magnets, bombs, and...WALKING fire! Mr. Robot dies when he does one of the following:

Falls more than his own height
Touches a WALKING fire (geez, I just can't get over this concept!)
Fails to escape the vicinity of an exploding bomb
Jumps into the bottomless pit at the bottom of the screen
His energy level ticks down to zero
Tries to "relieve" himself and realizes his suit is impossible to get out of (...just kidding)

[snip]

Remember that I mentioned another mode in the beginning called "Factory"? Pushing F5 at the splash screen will bring you to the secret lair where the computers build their devilish layouts. Here YOU can place the platforms, the traps, and the enemies. Beware...you will become addicted!
