Where's the NYC MegaDopefest enthusiasm thread? Oh, wait, here it is.

We're three weeks away, and Billdo's last NYC Megadopefest thread is buried...

Where's the enthusiasm? Where's the love? Where's the giddy pre-Dopefest flirting? I can't remember exactly, but last year, three weeks from the 'fest, I seem to recall a pretty active thread.

For my part, I'm driving down with my brilliant writing partner, CuriousCanuck, his non-Doper girlfriend, and LaurAnge (I think). Ask CC and I about our fantastic, offbeat musical, TRASH!. Far better than "Urinetown". ;)

I'll be spending the next couple of weeks deciding what to wear, polishing my tiara, and getting rid of that bit of holiday fatness.

OK, enthuse. Flirt. Ask me about the musical. I wanna get excited! I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of you again, and meeting everyone who wasn't there last year. :)

I also encourage male attendees to wear kilts.

Hooray! I can finally make it to a NYC Mega-Dopefest! If I remember right, I'm hitching a ride with Eonwe Friday evening.

Kilt? No kilt. But I do have a fedora, and a really cool leather coat (like the one Spike wore in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.) So I'll be wearing those, and I don't know what else. And I'm 21 at last, so I can go to the bars.

We've been talking about it quite a bit, actually. We were lucky to meet with some folks last week in the city for dinner so we could really start geekin' out.

Once again we've been fortunate in finding a place to stay for the weekend, and I can't wait to see y'all again.
