Coffee and Dope.

I just have to express how much I really enjoy these boards. I have been lurking, then posting for a few months now, and I just love some of the serious & funny moments that occur "here". I was going to post this during my morning pot of coffee, but the coffee ended before the hamsters let me on to this screen. (The title still stands though... I did enjoy coffee and Dope this morning. :))

Between my full-time job, graduate school, farming, and selling auto parts, there is not a ton of squeak room for leisure. I often read and post here in between working my online auctions, and during some days it's my only outside entertainment. (outside of my own mind that is.)

What a sublime pleasure, to peruse the SDMB in the morning. I really feel lucky to have stumbled on this corner of the internet. Thanks, everybody!

Besides feeling like I've found a nice little corner of the world that is special....like a community, the SDMB goes great with cofee.

Whether it's reading up on the speed of light and related theories, or the latest thread on boobs (amazingly, they both get a lot of hits), a cup of joe and the SDMB go great together.

I once made a pot of Dunkin' Donuts coffee with bong water .... cleaned my whole house in twenty minutes, and then stared at my cat for an hour. Fantastic time.

When I get to work in the morning, before anything that even resembles work gets done, I sit down with my coffee, check my webcomics, my email, and then the Dope boards. The day feels all wrong without it!
