Ok I have the Damien Rice album "O" and its been bugging me what a "Blower" is. I am guessing its an Irish/GB term for a particular job. When Boot=Trunk, Jumper=Sweater and Runners=Sneakers I didn't want to assume I knew what he meant by "blower".

I took it to mean that her father was a Glass-blower. (Waterford Crystal is from Ireland).
I suppose another meaning could be "whistle-blower" but I think glass-blower would more likely be shortened to "blower" and people would still know what it meant.

I'm sure it's glass blower.
I love this album, it's the best one I've heard in a long time. Possibly ever.

Thanks, I should have figured that out since the two times I've been to Ireland I stayed in Waterford County. Oh well. I'll blame it on the Guiness.
