Sadly, only in the UK in Region 2 PAL from HMV (http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ct&sku=161791&source=9318) it appears.

WTF has been the deal with this wonderful, beautiful, warm, tragic, hilarious film not being available except from Australia???? (and that version is long out of print).

Time to invest in a multi-region player, non-UK Dopers.

I thought it was available on PAL for a long time.

I picked up the South Korean release of the Director's Cut in NTSC format a year and a half ago. Unfortunately, the South Koreans have censorship laws that put distracting blurry areas over the actors' naught bits.

I'm expecting an NTSC release of the U.S. Theatrical version on Laserdisc any day now. :) (I also have a VHS bootleg I made years ago, that is in great condition. ;) )
