Think about this question for a minute. Then click on the link. Finally, post whether what you found is what you would have expected.

Note for those who hate clicking on links that don't clarify what is on the other end: read the spoiler box.
The Idea Store is a reinvented library in London,England

My first guess was bookstore. My back up guess was some place like the Sharper Image where "neat gadget" stuff could be found. The real place sounds nice.

I thought it would be a software store.

I figured it would be a gadget store like Thinkgeek (http://www.thinkgeek.com) or similar.

I thought it might be a resource for writers. Oh well.

Same here, but we don't have Sharper Image where I live. I actually thought of Explorus though, but I think they went bankrupt so I can't find a site.

My friend Dustin started this site (http://www.fishguru.com) back in 2000. I don't think he gets much business.

I have no idea. And since I'm broke, I guess I can't even buy one. :(

Before I moved, there was a place near my house, in a dingy "light industrial" portion of town, called "The Idea Source". I could never figure out what the hell it was. I just looked it up, and it's a marketing company. How boring.

Well since I don't like clicking on links that don't clarify what's on the other end, I hovered over this thread title to see what is was about. Well, your spoiler was revealed. Cool link though.

I just noticed that myself(that the spoiler is revealed by mouseover). It is hardly the end of the world, although if I'd realised it would happen that way I could have saved myself the effort of coding the spoiler.

The Idea Store works as a great name for an ad agency in my mind. I mean, that's what ad agencies do, sell ideas.
Or a patent office.
But it works pretty well for a library as well.

Could be a furniture store for poor spellers.
