Last night I noticed a little nodule-like thing on my right leg that I had never noticed before. I immediately checked the other leg and was relieved to find a similar one there, so I relaxed.

Are there parts to our bodies that are not symmetrical (or nearly so)? How about other animals? Any idea as to why the symmetry exists?

And on the "why do you park in a driveway" line, shouldn't symmetry be a palindrome?

There's plenty of asymmetry on the inside if that counts. Most remarkable to me is the fact that the right lung as 3 lobes and the left only 2.

I thought it was the pineal gland and it was because he couldn't figure out any other use for it.
