Has anyone else seen those commercials for SonicNet.com? More specifically, the one with Melissa Ehteridge of James Brown? Who are those other guys in that commercial!? There's a dark haired lead singer with a goatee whose COVERED in tattooes and a blonde, normal looking drummer, both men. Does anyone recognize this band? It's driving me insane!

It's not a bad series of commercials, as these things go. And the reason that all these expensive people are doing ads is because they were given free stock in SonicNet, in the same sort of deal Shatner made with priceline.com. Whatever works.

The drummer with the sunglasses is Don Henley, who has a new single out. It's another of his famed scathing indictments of capitalism and corporate greed. (/cheap irony)
