I see this a lot on online multi-player gaming. What does it mean?

I've seen it on another board.
But then I've seen a hell of a lot of gibberish that apparently means something. The internet seems to be developing it's own language.

urbandictionary.com (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=O_o&f=1)
A state of shock and dismay.
"foobar1: my puter doesnt open this prog
foobar2: o_O"
"foobar1: o_O thats an odd error"
AKA: O_o, =o
I think it's supposed to look like googly eyes.

It's one big eye and one little eye, indidcating a raised eyebrow.
It's my Uncle Doyle giving you his "You don't really believe that, do you?" look.

Googly eyes [ O_o ] isnt leet speak, it is an emoticon, just like :) :dubious: :smack: ;j ;)
Leet speak is using nonstandard keystrokes in words, like 3 = e or spelling please plz.
Hell, my characters in EQ wont respond if you don't bother typing words out unless we are in a raid or group and the crap is hitting the fan.
Hate people typing d00d, bufz plz at me. I really dont think a character that is visibly female is a d00d, and if you cant take an extra minute to ask me politely to buff you, or drop what I am doing to leave the zone to go and rez your dead ass you don't get it.
