Today, May 27th, always sticks out in my mind. It is the date I graduated from High School.
May 10th was an old anniversary with an old flame.(would have been 14 years this year.)
February 2, my offical adoption day.
October 27th, the date I remember kneeling before the coffin of Fr. Coughlin "The Radio Priest" and pretending to pray for him. ( Our entire school of kids had to do this. Kinda creepy now if you ask me.)
November 9th-ish- The anniversary of the father of a guy I went to school with being shot while attempting to break up a robbery at a bank in Detroit. He was an off duty cop and his toddler son was with him. Every year the bank prints a little thing in the Detroit News honoring him. It's been over 25 years. I still tear up when I read it.
June 20th-ish. Anniversary of the day we buried my Grandmother. She was 94 when she died and lived a good life. We had all the family in from all over and had a massive family reunion/party. One of the best parties I've ever attended in my life.
