A friend of mine is of the opinion that Jason Alexander was a bad choice for Boris Bandenov. I agree. We both think that Danny DeVito would have been the definitive Boris. What do you all think? Or do you care? If you don't, think about the anarchy that this substitution could incite from the students of Whattsamatta U?

Well I certainly care! If Jason uses his normal voice, then yes I agree Danny would be better, but have you heard him do Boris? Maybe he can do a perfect imitation. Got to get the Russian accent right, too. Not having put any thought into this before now, I can't come up with another actor, but I will cogitate on it. BTW, who's doing Natasha?

Why are Boris and Natasha communists but Fearless leader is a Nazi?

Do you think we get that dog and the Wayback machine?
That was my favorite part of the TV show.

I believe it is Rene Russo.

I would have chosen Cher, myself.

Yes, Rene Russo is Natasha. But Robert De Niro is Fearless Leader. How cool is that? Even if the movie blows, I still want to see it just for De Niro.

If the previews are any indication, this will be the worst film of the year.

WHAT ARE THEY THINKING WHEN THEY DO THIS STUFF? And what the heck is Robert DeNiro doing in it? I would not be surprised if this was the worst movie of the year. Angelica Huston, Cher, or that weird chick that Tim Burton's dating would all have made better Natashas, but they must have too much class to appear in a film like this. God, I hate these constant remakes, and exploitations of favorite characters. All the movies of the eighties may have been cheesy and stupid in retrospect, but at least they were new!

Danny Devito would have been a bad choice, IMHO. I lost all respect for him from Batman II.
I like the Jason Alexander idea - of course, it helps if you think of Jason Alexander from "Duckman" rather than Jason Alexander from "Seinfeld."

::Boris enters room with a sinister smile::
-Hey Natasha, I altered de casting page to read dat Jason Alexander vill be playing me in de movie.

::Natasha responds::
-Oh Boris, you are so clever, now the movie is doomed to fail. heh heh.

::Narrator::

Will Boris and Natasha succeed in ruining any chance of this movie's success? Tune in next time for:
