Okay, I think I'm officially overextended today

Shopping, dry cleaning, post office, school events, discussion of "listening skills" with kindergarten teacher, job search (for SO), trying to sell a car, trying to buy a car.

Oh, and my job, too.

I was just fixing my lunch and thinking about another call I needed to make and tried to punch my husband's cell phone # into the microwave.

That would've been one hot Calzone.


I want to go home now. How about you?

My day? Not too bad, except for the plumbers. We have had a leak that we've been blaming on the cat all week. Turns out that the main drain line from the house is cracked. What joy. Then, air conditioning went out yesterday. September in Alabama is still hellaciously hot but less humidity. So in comes plumber/air guy to fix. $200 - to replace the control box and clean out the ant nest. But he doesn't fix leaks so we wait. Then Chief Plumber guy shows up - looks at the piping going out of the house behind the sink - and says he'll be back tomorrow with a crew. :eek: They're going to have to remove the bottom cabinets to get to the leak. There goes our savings!

Hope your day gets calmer. I'm just wishing I married a plumber.
