Subscribed thread email problems

Okay, I checked the sticky and didn't see this...

When I'm subscribed to a thread, I believe I used to get an email for the first new message posted, and no more until I went to the thread again. In fact, the email I receive says:

There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.

However, I'm receiving one email per reply regardless of if I view the thread again, which adds up to a ton of emails on heavily trafficked threads.

Anyone else seen this? I don't see any way to change the subscribed threads options... or am I missing something?

Your settings are correct. Not sure what's going on with the board, it seems to be a glitch. I'll pass this on to Jerry. I can't promise you anything more than that. Sorry to hear you're having problems, I can imagine how annoying that is.

Anyone else seen this?
Definitely not alone.
I either get one notification per reply like you are, or I get none at all.
Some threads I'm subscribed to I rarely get notified and have to check it every day to make sure I didn't miss a reply.

I just figured it was the mods way of keeping me from posting so much. ;)
