Things were pretty rough at first but things appear to be okay now. I guess that is to be expected with any new marriage when step-kids are involved.

The kids are spending the entire summer with their cousins out of state. She says they are finally getting the honeymoon and time alone they haven't been able enjoy until now.

In short, she finally seems happy now that things have adjusted and I am truly happy for her. I still stand firm on my belief that she risked putting her kids in danger by marrying and moving into her home some guy off the internet one day after meeting him for the first time IRL.

Just as a small hijack: I talked to my lawyer last week (a divorce lawyer), and she has two clients right now involving spouses who left for someone they met on the Internet. Neither had met IRL before the breakup; one went to Paris (!). Sounds like there are lots of those cases!
