View Full Version : The opposite of a typical "naked dream": What's it mean?

Last night, I dreamed I was in a hotel with an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Long story short, I wanted to swim naked, but always got caught by staff, who went from simply telling me I couldn't do that to eventually threatening to have me arrested.

This is not the first time I've had such a dream, although it's been several years: wanting to be naked in public, but being thwarted. What could this mean? (BTW, there's never an erotic element to this.)

Do you ever sleep naked? I always have, and I'm always nude in my dreams. It's only an issue (in the dream) when it's made an issue. The only time it's erotic is when there's other stimulus.

Wild guess: Repressive parents? Teachers? Bosses? Overactive superego?

I have this recurring thing where I take a woman's clothes off and she turns out to be a sort of living doll - i.e., anatomically incorrect. :(

I occasionally sleep naked, but last night I did not.

I'm not currently being oppressed by anything except the state of being unemployed.

Back in the early days of Playboy magazine many teenage boys had dreams exactly as you describe. Airbrushed fantasies.
