Hi. I am looking for any advice on purchasing a very small microphone. It will be used to record employees in the workplace for various reasons. Ideally, it would feed wireless to a computer on the other side of the office that will record it, as a standalone recorder would not run long enough. And it would be sensitive enough to hear a soft conversation, not nec. whispering, at maybe 10-15' through some obstructions (over or around a low cubicle wall?). Doing a quick search got me some hits for pen-mics, handheld voice recorders and such, but most either with cords, or too big.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Well, this (www.spycam4u.com) is a good place to get both audio AND video, but if you're not looking for all of that, try these (http://www.spymaster.co.uk/audio.html) chaps over across the pond.

This thread is better suited for In My Humble Opinion (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?f=12).

I'll move it for you.
