And I will hug it and squeeze it and call it George.

Because it's fizzy and tasty and has caffeine. And I love that more than is healthy.

I can't find them anywhere!!! I know I'd love it. They shouldn't be allowed to show the commercials in areas that don't sell it yet. Dammit!

I've had it. Meh. I prefer the Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi.

I didn't even have to search for it - they were stocking it my employee cafe.

Too bad this isn't in IMHO because if this thread followed the "odd stuff that helped you masturbate" thread, we would have the best sequential thread titles of all time.

Do they have a Diet Cherry Vanilla Low Carb Dr. Pepper?

So they have diet cherry vanilla dr.pepper, is there a regular cherry vanilla dr.pepper? How bout jsut cherry dr.pepper? Or vanilla? It's like they used every variation there was and smooshed them all together!

They would, but they can't fit the name on the can.

This is good news. Diet Dr. Pepper is my preferred soft drink, and I love cherry flavor. Of course, if I like it, it will flop.

You mean like when they stopped selling Mountain Dew in the UK?

Y'know, I was just introduced to Diet Dr Pepper by a friend a few days back. I'm still in the honeymoon phase--it's like having cans of sunshine and liquified happiness in my very own refrigerator. I'd hate to think that DDP has a younger, more attractive sister that I could have at the very same time. My God, I feel a need to write in to Penthouse Forum...

I've been thinking exactly the same thing with every can of DDrPCV I've opened

But DCVDP is the mistress I run off to on occasion for a guilt-free quickie.

The closest to infidelity I'll ever really get. :p

This sounds good but horrible at the same time. It's three of my most favorite flavors but I'm not sure how I'd like them together, especially the vanilla. Vanilla and soda do NOT go together. Bleh.

With that being said, I want some but have no idea how to get it as I didn't notice it at the grocery store Monday and won't be back for a couple more months anyway. Bah.

I just drank one, and it was kinda.. blah, actually. Give me good old Dr. Pepper any day (and anyone who claims diet tastes just like regular lies). The flavors are there, but they destory that wonderfully Dr. Pepper-y flavor.. What is that mystery flavor anyway? I could swear Dr.P tastes sort of like plums.

Also, I'm kicking myself for drinking soda now because it gave me heartburn. :(

Very close. My understanding is that it is actually prune-flavored soda.

I like it for a change, though these days I'm more apt for diet Boylan Black Cherry or Cream Soda, diet Green Tea Cola, or my old standard, Diet Pepsi. Or diet Mountain Dew, of the standard or Code Red variety. The nice thing about the Mountain Dew twins, was that they were so sickly sweet to begin with, when I was forced to transition to the diet stuff, they were the soda that showed the least marked change in flavor. Actually when I drank normal soda, I preferred Coke to Pepsi, but after the transition the craving is for basic sweetness and diet Pepsi is better for that.

I have tried the new stuff - decent, but it didn't blow my socks off.

No. Not prunes.

It tastes like cough syrup. Diet cough syrup. Only made more cough-syrup-esque with the addition of rum. Regular Dr. Pepper is the nectar of the gods, but this stuff... Ewwwwwwww.

Y'know, I tried this last weekend when I was visiting my mom and it really didn't taste any different from regular Diet Dr. Pepper to me. At all.

They were giving this out for free in front of the Alamo this last summer. So good.

I thought the Cherry and Vanilla was very subtle. I liked.

I can't stand regular Diet Dr. Pepper, but both my boyfriend and I have been getting the Diet Cherry Vanilla stuff practically every time we buy a bottle of soda. I absolutely love it.

He only drinks diet stuff because I do, but he thinks the diet version actually tastes better than the regular.

I don't like regular or diet Doctor Peper, but this new one is pretty good. The vanilla and cherry flavor change the flavor enough that it tastes fairly good to me.

Me, too--I prefer the diet version of most soft drinks.

I love the diet vanilla Coke. I never thought I'd like a Coke product, but that I do.

First time I tried diet Dr. Pepper, I thought it was horrendous. This was a long, long time ago, though, and they might have played with the flavour since then. If I see diet cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper, I'll give it a try, based on this thread.

You can hardly taste the vanilla. Not that I was surprised; there were already enough flavors competing for the drinker's attention before the vanilla got thrown in the mix.

I'm completely addicted to the stuff. If I keep buying it at the rate I have been recently, investing in Dr Pepper stock might be a good idea. Actually, I believe Dr Pepper is owned by Cadbury-Schweppes now. Mmm, Cadbury.

I love it. It's delicious. Vanilla/cola drinks like Vanilla Coke and Pepsi are repulsive, but the combination of cherry and vanilla and Diet Dr Pepper is really good. The cans are pretty too.

The cans are pretty! The drink doesn't taste bad, but I'll probably stick to Diet Mug Root Beer and Diet Vanilla Pepsi.

I dunno. I really like Diet Dr Pepper, but... it seems there are too many flavors in DCVDrP. It ended up (to me, obviously), tasting almost like regular old Diet Dr Pepper but a little bit different. But I didn't really taste the cherry or vanilla, so I'm left with something that vaguely annoys me. I'll stick with just plain diet.

But I will admit, as a die-hard diet pop drinker, that I'm tickled at companies finally making funky flavors in DIET instead of just regular versions!

Oh, and some friends of mine were trying to think of other words to stick onto the name. We came up with: Diet Caffeine-free Low-Sodium Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper. Heh heh.

I hate Dr. Pepper. I really really hate diet Dr. Pepper.

I love Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. (the non-diet type). It has a little of the "peppery-prune" flavor, but it's not so overpowering.
