This week was performance-review time at my work. Mine was the last thing today, and I passed! My boss is happy with my work, and there are interesting new things to do in the future.
One of these is... setting up my new work computer! After a year of pleading and hoping, I am for the first time getting a completely-new computer at my work! No longer will I have to write 600-page technical manuals on a Pentium 2 450.
The first part arrived today: a 19-inch NEC LCD flatscreen monitor. :cool: If I'm reading the purchase order right, the box will be a 3-gHz Pentium 4 with a gig of RAM and an LG all-format DVD writer.
I just have to get one more manual out of the way, and that manual is almost done. Then it will be time to back up data and prepare for the new arrival. :)
