The OP is misleading. This isn't the case of the alleged killer being called to serve on his jury, but rather the deceased victim called to serve:Jay (AP) - A Delaware County man who prosecutors say was killed by his father-in-law was called for jury duty in his alleged killer's murder trial.

This would make a great Tales From The Crypt story if the victim actually showed up on the jury with 11 other undead peers to condemn the accused to the gallows.

It's not misleading, though it is a bit ambiguous. The specific phrasing used could refer to either the victim or the alledged perpetrator.
Sorry, my post was ambiguous. I should have said that the OP was vague. ;)
